Idea Napkin No.2
1) I am a man that is experienced in the outdoors as well as construction. i intend on working for myself for as much as my life as possible. once a business venture succeeds enough i plan to purchase a large tract of land and opening a hunting guide service. Hopefully the site development business is successful enough to fund this venture.
2) The service that i intend to provide is site clearing and development in preparation for new construction on primarily previously undeveloped land. Focusing on the jobs that are more difficult than most companies are willing to take on.
3) My customer will be the land owner or construction manager, these customers have land that they wish to have cleared and possibly leveled for construction of agriculture use. These customers are unable to land contracts with larger site development firms and also don't have the ability to do the job themselves.
4) The customers will be willing to pay for this service because they need the land to be cleared in order to be able to continue the project or earn revenue from the land.
5)The thing that will set me apart from other companies is that i will focus mostly on smaller projects with companies or individuals that cant get contracts with the large companies to do the job. I will also do the jobs that other companies wont, such as jobs deep in swamps and other hard to work in locations.
My5 elements tie together pretty well. The element that doesn't tie in perfectly is my end goal of owning land and operating a guide service.

ReplyDeleteGood to see that you have refined your idea napkin since the previous assignment. You clearly have a strong entrepreneurial mindset by wanting to work for yourself as much as possible. Good on you! Since you are targeting jobs that are more difficult than most companies are willing to take on, this will be more of a challenge, but can be the differentiating factor for your company. I appreciate that you took my advice from before and added more detail and further developed your customer profile. Nice job!
